Let's Play Civilization 5! In this series we tackle the deity gameplay difficulty again, hopefully with better results than last time. To (hopefully) make this possible, we will be playing as Pachacuti of the Incas, who has experience making some sweet farms up in the mountains. Do you play with mods? Your HUD is quite different.

Too bad you didnt settle Eldorado right away.
Should have settled there ASAP and worked your way back to your capital with next cities. Also, feel free to steal 1 worker from a non-cultured city state far away from you. -
linus is this sid miers or normal civ?

You never did part 3... you cock sucker...
-
Linus, can you provide a link to the list of mods that you are using in this series?? I would like to have the same interface as yours when playing the game......

Religion... Well you had no real good pantheons available, honestly. I really doubted you'd get it anyway.
The national college could be obtained by settling the third city with buying a library in it as soon as settling occurred. You could have sold all your cocoa to your friends and you'd be fine, actually. You have a lot of it, anyway. I would even consider sacrificing GPT for the National College (Mongolia have the monay$).
Considering Venice and Greece are in the game, it really does seem that you'd need to grab three city-states for you (for all of the game), because there is no way a diplomatic victory will come without some domination...
I'd consider settling one more city and would rush the happiness buildings. -
The reason the AI has such high population in its cities is because on Deity The AI only needs 60% of the food it normally needs for a city to grow and can support that unhappiness by only receiving 60% of the unhappiness they usually would.

those mistakes u made were stressful to watch

The funny thing is in Civ 3 (I'm not sure about civ 1, 2 and 4) you actually could choose your government type.
The only problem being that you had to temporarily fall into a state of anarchy.
Though it would be cool to choose your government type in Civ 6 with, maybe, different options available depending on your ideology. Such as republic and democracy for freedom. Fascism and despotism for autocracy and communism for order. -
