Are you kidding me?! The I-X Center in Cleveland would have been MUCH better! So close to Hopkins Airport, which would attract thousands of attendees conveniently flying in!

Has anyone ever seen the movie "Gummo"? it takes place in Xenia ohio.

that is a cookie duster

That should be a great place for the Hamvention. There has been a Hamfest at the Deerfield New Hampshire fairgrounds for many years and the large space and facilities really work out. They use the buildings for forums and commercial vendors and the outside space for flea marketing.

This looks like a nice venue, and certainly a step up from Hara.
The exhibit halls look nice. I heard you say it's "big", but is it really?
I've only been to Hamvention twice. But as I look at Google Maps, it doesn't appear to be as big as Hara.
I did a side-by-side comparison of the two sites to the same scale on Google Maps. There's no way to upload it here. I can email it to you if you'd like.
I added up the space shown on the Green County web site and there's only 81,000 sq-ft of exhibit space.
Surely Hara was 2-3 times that big. You're going to need more space or tents or something.
None of the fixed exhibit spaces seems to have space suitable for forums.
The flea market filled most of the Hara parking lot.
I'm hearing that the track area is slated for the flea market.
It appears to be about HALF the Hara parking lot area.
I wish you the best, and I hope Hamvention succeeds. I just wanted to express my concerns - and I know it's early in the game, so hopefully you can address these issues. -
Haven't went before, but it looks like a step up from what Hara was like from videos I've seen. I hope to be able to go next year...looks like the vendor(s) are happy so why not?!

See you there!
