Driscoll Farms in Mexico & Smashing Great Tequila Makers http://unlimited4life.com Around Lake Chapala there are many Driscoll Farms Mexico where they grow luscious strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. The raspberries are to die for!!! We are talking fresh, plump, such little time spent in transport! These are juicy and so flavourful, bar none. And CHEAP!! Everette has become quite good friends with Sandy y Daniel who have been making tequila for 10 years now, winning awards the first year they were in production. There's a very-restricted tequila business in this part of Mexico...actually in the whole world, because the Trademark for Tequila is government-regulated. Mexican laws state that tequila can only be produced in the state of Jalisco (that's where we are!) and limited municipalities in the states of Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas. One of the agave farms is located right between where we stay and where my sister lives. Everette points it out on the video, on the top of the hill there where the agaves have a great view :) of Lake Chapala and where we can party with Sandy and Daniel!!
