In the final week of August, Indiana's locavores and anyone that could eat food gathered at the White River State Park for the first ever Dig-IN, Taste of Indiana. The event featured growers and chefs from all across Indiana. The schedule was full with cooking demonstrations, a discussion panel, urban garden exhibits, amazing food, beer and wine. Craftedspoon came out to celebrate the great event and talk to some of Indiana's local food celebrities. After devouring every food sample in sight we spoke with Laura Henderson from Growing Places Indy, Greg Hardesty from Recess and Jamie Staton from Gunthorp Farms.What resulted after consuming too much food and a few questions, was a short video that highlights Indiana's local food movement and what the future holds for us locavores.
