Farms: Del Mar College Southside Property Maintenance

Del Mar College purchased 96 acres on Corpus Christi's Southside in 2013. The condition of the property at Rodd Field Road and Yorktown Boulevard at that time was suitable for agriculture and livestock. It was necessary to remediate the property to make it compatible with the surrounding neighborhoods, schools, parks and businesses. The college purchased a new utility tractor in 2016 to mow the Southside property as part of ongoing maintenance.
