Farms: Deer Family at Drumlin Farm in Winter

White-tailed deer are common field and forest travelers in Massachusetts. As more land becomes developed, they have become a common sight in suburban areas as well. Females typically give birth in the late spring and stay with their young for several seasons. In the winter you may see deer tracks in your backyard or nearby woodland areas as they forage for plants, berries, and seeds. This footage was recorded using our motion-activated wildlife camera.
