http://www.deeprunfarms.com Sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture program in the Carroll County, Frederick County, or Baltimore County area by downloading Deep Run Farms' ONLINE CSA APPLICATION here... http://www.deeprunfarms.com/csa-maryland-community-supported-agriculture-application/ We've been able to get a jump on things this year due to the early, good weather, and we've already started laying plastic and getting crops going for 2012. We've already planted 2 acres of sweet corn, and it's only March! Our fields will be ready, and our crops will be ready earlier this year, which benefits our wholesale customers, and our CSA participants. For the 2012 season we have decided to expand our CSA program to a much larger portion of the community and hope to more than double the number of participants. We have decided to offer both full and half shares to be picked up at the farm or delivered at a few predetermined pick up spots, which will be strategically-located for their convenience to our participants. CSA programs are becoming more and more popular because there are so many benefits of Community-Supported Agriculture, both to the local farm, and to the community participants. CSA's give people a sense of personal involvement in their local farm, and the production of the food that they eat. It's an opportunity to eat ultra-fresh at below-market prices.
