This is an early ABC Movie of the Week production of which all involved could justifiably been proud -- this picture, and DAUGHTER OF THE MIND, and ASSAULT ON THE WAYNE, plus the two spy movies FOREIGN EXCHANGE and THE SPY KILLER, were great thrillers.
-
Hope Lange's hairstyle changed - while she was typing in the office her hair had obviously been set with rollers and was bouffant. When she's in her car supposedly a few minutes later her hair looks like it was just washed and styled, not set with rollers - it wasn't the bouffant style she had in the office.

Any fans of this great classic I highly recommend purchasing your copy from the following I did and I must say the quality and sound were very crisp especially for a movie of this age

Nice leather pants on Hope!
-
Love this movie I was only 10 then but it still seems scary, I miss the simpler times of the 70, s

Maggie typed in invisible ink. Kevin embodied smarm. Love how TV husbands in the '70s wore more bed clothes than their wives. Great line from Mr. Dane = "Aren't they all part of the same circle?"
-
Hope Lange, a classy actress. Thx for the uploads TVTL!
-
I am a grown man, and Big Surprise STILL gives me the chills. My God, that has got to be one of the scariest for a boy to watch!
-
And don't forget Virginia Gregg. She was in two TWILIGHT ZONE episodes, but then she was in just about everything.

@CDARRELLRYZ Just goes to show ya how they don't make 'em like they used to! Movie of the Weeks were so awesome! Thank you for helping out in bringing attention to such great actors back in the day!
-
@CDARRELLRYZ John Carradine also starred in "Big Surprise", an episode from season 2 of Rod Serling's Night Gallery.
-
@CDARRELLRYZ Isnt that awesome!? Only WE know right? Great acting is great acting! Thanks for sharing!
-
@TribalSooz. I've counted a total of five actors in this movie that were in a Twilight Zone episode. Lloyd Bochner John Carradine Milton Selzer Patricia Barry Cyril Delevanti

Wow.. hard to believe how much of this I remember from viewing initially at 9 years old. Great movie!
-
Miss these 1970's movies.....this was before "instant gratification". Meaning the only time you could see ANY movie, was on TV or in the theatre! Not on you tube, or your computer, much less your phone! Or owning the DVD/VHS. wow.....we are very lucky and spoiled these days.....
-
The original airdate for this TV-movie was November 24,1970

@TribalSooz lloyd bochner was the father of actor/director/voice over actor hart bochner. lloyd bochner, richard kiley and Cesare Danova all remind me of each other.
-
Not to mention the Doctor, Milton Selzer, also a Twilight Zone alumnus. He was in "The Masks" directed by Ida Lupino.
-
I love the actor, Lloyd Bochner, who plays Mr.Kevin Pierce, the "other" man/threat. He was in that Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man". Brilliant!
