Farms: Courtney highlights CT products, challenges facing farmers in day-long farm tour

Joe Courtney visited four eastern Connecticut farms, highlighting their unique products and the challenges they face, including higher fuel prices. The farms in Quaker Hill, Pomfret Center, North Grosvenordale and Preston produce beef, fruit, vegetables, forest products, hydroponic lettuce and black currants.
