Claiborne Farm in Paris, Kentucky has been a historic Thoroughbred operation for over 100 years. Founded in 1910, the farm has been owned and operated by the Hancock family and is the birthplace of more than 80 Champion racehorses, including Hall of Fame members Seabiscuit, Nashua, Bold Ruler, Round Table, Personal Ensign, and Ruffian. In addition, the farm has been home to a world-renown roster of stallions. Stallions standing at Claiborne have topped the North American Sire Lists 29 times and include top sires such as Nasrullah, Princequillo, Mr. Prospector, Secretariat, Danzig, and War Front. It is coming up on 45 years since I last saw Claiborne and it is so good to see these pictures. Say 'hey' to Clay and any others who might remember that Boston kid who was thrilled to be Bull's secretary for a couple of years 1970-1972. Alicia
