Just watched both these England vids, looks like you and the family had a great time in our great and pleasant land.
Shame you arrived during the Carp Spawning period. Still you looked very happy with the big old chunky 28lb Mirror carp.
Maybe come back another year and go for some Barbel/Chub & River Carp maybe? (Bring strong tackle for that)
Cool Vids. Tight Lines. R. -
carp were introduced to England hundreds of years ago by the Monks as a food source,
we still have river banks and other fish swimming around with the carp after all that time.
so glad you enjoyed your time here in England. -
looks awesome buddy :)

I think you would like carp fishing in Australia but the only problem is that you have to kill them because there introduced and destroy the river banks and eat all the natives eggs

I never fished for trout but it looks fun.

I just wanted to say that your videos are a joy to watch. I have watched several over the last few days and i'm glad you enjoyed your time in England. I'm English myself and one of the species I target is carp so it's great to see an American using the same type of tactics as us and fishing for carp, which doesn't seem as popular in the States as here in Europe. Catching a 28lb fish and another 20 is also great angling and it being your first ever visit makes it even more special. When you fished on the canal though, it might have been more fun to use light lure tactics and fish for the Pike and Perch, it's always a fun method on the canal. I spend most of my days on lakes and big ponds, but you can catch some surprises in those canals.
It's also great to see you taking your kids fishing and getting them out. Your eldest always seems like he genuinely enjoys fishing which is very positive man. Keep the videos coming and I'll be sure to subscribe. -
