Banda de rock estadounidense formada en 1969 por los ex componentes de Vanilla Fudge, el bajista Tim Bogert y el batería Carmine Appice, el guitarrista de los Detroit Wheels de Mitch Ryder Jim McCarty, y Rusty Day, el cantante de los Amboy Dukes de Ted Nugent. "Cactus" (1970) fue el primer álbum del nuevo supergrupo, un disco de intenso hard, blues y boggie rock que incluía dos versiones ("Parchman Farm", "You Can't Judge a Book by The Cover") e interesantes temas propios ("Bro. Bill", "Let Me Swim" o "My Lady From South of Detroit")

I was feeling a little down, being sick the last 2 days... put this on, and wow... this is medicine for the mind.

And this shit was plugged straight into the Marshall - no special guitar effects. Love the way the guitar/Marshall snarls during the harp solo. Again, any questions millennials? Who's your Daddy?
