UPDATE: I was incorrect about being stuck in the Wildlife in order to farm the Loot Midgets. Apparently, I learned incorrectly. We've been told that you should be able to farm them as long as you don't turn in the Doctor's Orders mission and you can move on with the game. If you disagree, please leave a comment. But this video is still helpful to anyone who has turned in the Doctor's Orders mission or for just doing something different and fun. Thanks again everyone!!! I'm sorry but this takes a lot to set up just for the possibility of loot midgets to spawn. Stick with Doctors orders. Only have to fight enemies and you get guaranteed loot midgets.

You can complete the wildlife preserve mission. To get the loot midgets to spawn you must have the active mission "doctors orders" from tannis and you cant complete this SIDE mission

The Wildlife preservation was more efficient for me I ran through this area 10x and either lootmidgets didn't spawn or they never dropped legendaries/pearls

just got lucky last night..
so.. I found this loot midget psycho guy when you're about to destroy mortar's buzzard
I have no idea where he come from
then I kill him and BOOM... he dropped the hornet.. -
Dont ask me how but i accidently dropped a legendary off a cliff and into lava. Its was called a Gunerang and its was a decent looking pistol that i had 2 minutes before. Was this gun good or not? im worried that i made a huge mistake. 😨

Does anyone know if farming them on the handsome jack collection in the wildlife preserve still works? I keep doing it and I've done at many runs on different occasions and they have dropped nothing but ancient relics. Do I have a better chance if I do it online or offline?

About the 'stuck at that point' comment about the Exploitation Preserver midgets, it isnt true. Recently, I found out that you do NOT have to complete the mission (Doctor's Orders) as a story mission, rather as a side quest. I have 9 OP8 save files, and without a save editor, I still farm those midgets.

From doing this I have received 3 pearls within 10 minutes of farming and 9 loot midgets in a run

Midgets are everywhere.. Not only preserve and not only Cauldron.
Example : I found jenkins at the top of thousand cuts. (Near the bigass gate)
