I was waiting for at least one Young Frankenstein reference. Great comparison, though.

Sorry, the book monster is far more sympathetic and believable. The monster in the movie doesn't even display any motivation for his actions. The movie doesn't even explore the nature of the monster, good vs. evil, etc. The movie just kinda sucks.

What is an "abbynormal brain"?

I always wonder how trustworthy the story as put forth in the novel is. By half way through you're reading the words of the monster, as told to Frankenstein, as told to the captain. It's like the campfire game of telephone, where a message gets whispered in one ear and passed down the line. And all this in a letter written to the captain's sister!

There was a silent film of Frankenstein in 1910

My video buffered immediately after he said "it seems to be working"

To be fair Victor didn't know the Creature saw him destroy the bride
-
How about doing 2001: A space Odyssey?
-
May I suggest you compare "Night of Wishes" to "Wunschpunsch"?

You know, a biologist once told me that it is not the case of nature vs. nurture, but both nature and nurture.
-
Frankenstein's idea of fear in what you created make me think of amiibo XD
-
I think Curse of Frankenstein is the best version. Dr. Frankenstein treats all the characters like shit and then finds out he is insane himself and never even created anything
-
Please do the humpback of Notre Dame
-

-
Could you do either Dracula, Phantom of the Opera or Jekyll and Hyde
-
why not review the one with rob dereo its very faithful to the book!
-
I think that the Hallmark version was the closest to the book.
