Father and son owners of Columbus' Black Creek Bistro are farmers. The vast majority of their supplies are grown on their farm in Canal Winchester. What they can't grow themselves they try to purchase from other local producers. And like good farmers, they waste nothing--their food scraps are composted, they use their cardboard boxes to suppress weed growth and they have two trucks running on used vegetable oil. From Our Ohio show 418, produced in 2009.
