Farms: Bird flu outbreak in UK and Netherlands farms

More than a hundred and fifty thousand chickens and ducks are being destroyed following the discovery of separate cases of bird flu in the Netherlands and the UK. Health officials say there's little risk of human contamination but the commercial implications could be very serious. Al Jazeera's Simon McGregor-Wood reports.

Isn't it interesting that these flues are all coming from intensive animal agriculture. Unfortunately there are very few people that will connect the dots and say that it is time to quit the animal products. Plant based diets are where it's at.
