Comedian, actor, presenter Bill Oddie talks about farming in the UK today, and a depressing future of the UK possibly having "super farms" like they have in the USA. This is where the animals are all kept together like on a production line, never going out or anything like that.... a bit like what happens to chickens, but apply that to cattle. Recorded from The Daily Politics, 12 January 2011.

just because our community is getting bigger & bigger does it mean that the Animal welfare has to be lost I my self don't think so
-
soaring food bills my arse, we pay less proportionally now that we ever did. dont spend so much on other neccessities like plasma tvs, xboxes, gorging at xmas

it's cruel to cows, and not only that, but the milk itself will be of a poorer quality. cows should be outside getting good nutrients from fresh grass and vitamin d from the sun. The milk will be cheaper but it will also lack essentual nutrients.

Just like cheap battery chickens, people will buy any shit so long as it is cheap. Why are we told mass immigration is a good thing but feeding these extra millions means destroying our countryside? Profit for supermarkets, kickbacks for politicians are all that matters.

There are too many sheeple to do anything. For every concious buyer, there are hundreds reliant on supermarkets...

Should not be built

There will be no Countryside left due to the policies of the politicians in recent years. See my feature video.
