Baroda Stud is one of Ireland's best-known stud farms and it has a long and colourful history. Located in the heart of the Thoroughbred County of Kildare. Baroda and Rosetown Stud Farms are set on 300 acres and provide excellent facilities for producing top quality thoroughbred horses. The historic significance of the lands of Baroda can be traced back to as far as the 13th century. Under their current ownership, Baroda and Rosetown Stud Farms have been developed into a boutique stud operation, offering temporary and permanent boarding for mares. The two farms cover 300 acres of high quality limestone land, which has the reputation of being some of the finest soil in all of Ireland. They each provide excellent facilities to board mares and spell horses and our experienced staff pride themselves on their attention to the horses in their care. Located in the heart of the thoroughbred county just outside Newbridge in Co. Kildare, Baroda is conveniently placed to avail of the services of many of Ireland's top stallion farms. Walk-out mares are teased, vetted and ready for covering before being transported in our own vehicle to the stallion, thereby ensuring your mare is covered at the optimum time. Our facilities are currently being used by clients from Ireland, France, UK and USA and we welcome owners to call at anytime to see their horses or to visit the farms. www.barodastud.com created by www.irishhorse.tv
