On May 7, 2011 we had a barn raising event at our home in West Granby, CT. Back in February, the snow, ice and rain had collapsed our 19th century barn. Working with our insurance company, a neighbor craftsman and a local sawmill, we have been able to rebuild a building essentially the same as what fell down.
