Farms: As the Urban Growth Boundary Approaches: A Wary Farmer Notices
Productivity | Information | History | View | Quality
Bill Zimmerman, a small farmer in Vancouver, Washington talks about the approaching urban growth boundary (UGB) that may soon encompass his farm. Every 5 years the UGB in Washington State is up for review by the county (his is in Clark county), and the UGB line keeps expanding as development pressures, and highest use principles are applied to agricultural lands that lie close to urban areas. As Zimmerman explains, to end up inside the UGB line means tighter regulations, and greater vulnerability to neighbor complaints that can end up putting farms like his, out of business. Stop voting in these ads clowns that take and take. County commissioners are evil in carnage.

Go to rense (dot) com and search Agenda 21. Destruction of the farms is a target for Agenda 21. This is a lot worse than you know.

Nice to see others know about this. It's all real, and I pray that others take their time and really research it too. My state is way ahead of so many. very bad. If this information could get out to the masses, they would be so shocked, but probably not believe it. Bless you for sharing the information. It needs to be heard.

Go to the video listed below. It explains everything that is really going on in this country, and actually the entire world. Every Nation is doing this. It's the UN Agenda 21. I checked my State and it's unbelieveable. Every State is involved. Everything this video is about is listed there. All people in the U.S. are involved, property or not. Be patient with the video, it gets good a ways into it. Rosa Koire : The AGENDA 21 Deception (Sustainable Development) AxXiom Radio 1.27.2012

fascinating, Frustrating, FRIGHTENING!!

I think the urban growth lines should be set though not mobile. I hate to see a farmer threatened by development.

Aw, I wish we had urban growth boundaries in more places. I don't think endless sprawl will work. I worry food prices will go up if this keeps up. Farm animals should be able to be loud in the countryside as well. Just my opinion.

I feel so bad for him, owning his land and farm, but in effect renting it from the county. TPTB claim eminent domain, and poof, your farm is gone. Very very sad !!

wow, shocked to hear about urban growth or spreading out..lately all i hear is people in the burbs need to move back into the city's and be stacked on top of each other , look at agenda 21, and this year agenda 21 is having there 20 year reunion, and all agenda 21 is about is taking the land from Middle class America, sad...

It is all part of globalization and we are headed down the rabbit hole at a very fast pace. Urban planning is just the tip of the iceberg look up Agenda 21 and see for yourself. Warning go slow and research it do not just blow it off as conspiracy theory it has been happening for a long time and is coming to you soon whatever state you are in.

What is wrong with these urban planning commissions? Wouldn’t property values increase if they built upwards instead of outwards? Isn’t there enough evidence already that urban sprawl is the bane of a community? How can any rational person think that unregulated destruction of the farms that source our food be a good idea. What must we do to stop this foolhardy madness?
