Farms: Arrival of Cage Free Hens

These hens have come to sanctuary from a CAGE FREE egg farm. Hens kept in cage-free environments generally live with 10.000 others and are subject to aggression and violence their entire lives as the group attempts to establish a pecking order. We have seen dreadful injuries on these birds, but thankfully none with this group. We will now work on rehabilitating them physically and psychologically so that they can settle into a peaceful and calm sanctuary life.

thanks to save them, they are in bad shape, but in 5 months will be beautiful, is not easy at all to live in the torture chamber for 2 years, they are now happy and free and playing with friends, they deserve to live like this congratulations .

So sad to see them in this condition. Poor babies....thanks so much for rescuing them. I'm sure they will love their new lives at the sanctuary.

Those are some very sad chickens. I hope they get peace soon. I think the dust bathing is so therapeutic for them. Poor dears are home now.
