On the plusside, there is never chlorine in the water here in Denmark. Its all clean groundwater.
On the other side, there is no such thing as free woodchips. Its expensive. People use it to heat their houses. I sure could use some free woodchips -
16:32 Doesn't acid rain have an effect on the plants? I understand no human can spend the whole day filtering their water to water plants, but still. . . and besides isn't the pollution in a place like Cleveland Ohio gonna make the acid rain worse

laughed at compost

nice aquaponic like the thought of the small fishery to pump water up to the plants then plants clean it and put it back down for the fish

Is this a kung fu redub? Or are you tryin to explain yourself better than yourself in real life? Why would you overdub yourself in the same language? Crouching tiger... hidden gardener! lol :)

Hello :) newbie question here :) may i ask if you can actually eat vegetables grown from a turtle aquaphonic filter system? Is it human safe? My concern is that it uses turtle waste instead of the conventional fish waste :) thank you :)

What's unique about their aquaponics system is that it's not done with a regular type medium. They fill regular plastic pots with their soil, but the bottom is a few inches of just coconut coir. It gets the water filtered (kinda, wish they had a sand filter installed) and gets wicked up to the plants. This way, it gets all different nutrients. Never seen it done anywhere like that. Very cool.

Has anyone tried this ebook called Densoy Total Aquaponics Guide? I've looked over the sales but don't know if it's just sales hype. Would someone who has been convinced enough to buy it please share their views? Cheers

My goal is to have a garden in Idaho to end hunger in my local area. I have 4 1/2 acres and want to grow this garden for abused women and children in my area. Going kind of slow though I am single woman and don't have a lot of funds. Built a fence for the garden this summer out of pallets and railroad ties that where free.
