Fall is the most beautiful time of the year, as we say good-bye to warm weather and say hello to the cool weather and fall colors. It is our family tradition to pick apples in September. It's a fun thing to do with friends or family for the afternoon. After 4 days or rain in DC, we decided to get out of the house despite of the cloudy day. The drive from DC to Poolsville, Maryland, was a beautiful scenic drive. Just be careful to stay within the speed limit as we've gotten tickets on the winding country road.
