http://www.undergroundworldnews.com Dahboo7 On Zeekly: http://zeeklytv.com/user/Dahboo77 Apple chief executive Tim Cook said Tuesday that the company is taking on an ambitious project: an enormous solar farm that will provide enough power for all of the company's corporate offices, California stores, its forthcoming campus and more. The project will be done in collaboration with First Solar Inc. as part of that firm's 2,900-acre California Flats solar project. Apple's portion of the farm is 1,300 acres and will add 130 megawatts of new solar power to the state of California, First Solar said in a release. Cook made his comments at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference in New York; Apple streamed the remarks online. Cook said he expects the $848 million investment Apple makes in the solar farm will result in "significant savings" for Apple, because the firm can secure a fixed cost for renewable energy that is cheaper than traditional power. He called it the company's "biggest and boldest" project to date, according to Apple Insider. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-switch/wp/2015/02/10/apple-is-building-a-massive-solar-farm-in-california/?tid=sm_tw

You were ahead of me on this Dahboo tim cook is going to cook apple. The apple stores in MD all have a 2 star rating. And apple is building a solar farm in china. Its crazy. Tim cook learned nothing from Steve Jobs. Elon Musk aquired Silevia and they are going to make panels in New York for Solar city.

question????? solar is good yes but if California is this state that is expecting this massive earthquake apocalypse ???????? then how does this benefit Apple at the end and if people are expected to die???? who gets to use it down the track
-
When they cover up the sun with chemtrails, means no sun, no solar power.
But most likely they will have backup electric power. -
Peace to your house. over here DAHBOO. City adds solar photovoltaic technology
to bundle of sustainability bundle of initiatives is a
multi-phase photovoltaic solar energy project that will help make the city’s wastewater
treatment plant self-sustaining, and ultimately provide a source of revenue. As a result of
all these efforts, Tulare is expected to save more than $13.9 million in energy costs, and
avoided capital and operating costs. #WORLD AG EXPO 2015 luvbug aka #believersunderground JUDE 1 please look at it. -
Ever wonder what alternative media outlets are shills? Which ever ones are not covering the London Satanic pedophile ring!!!such as this channel!!! U-tube "Papa kills babies" to be in the know!!
-
Well,,whats the point when THEY chemtrailing the sky all day and blocking the sun.....
-
First Solar is building and operating a massive solar farm in California. Apple is buying the electricity.
-
Interesting project - btw if anyone is interested in seeking out more info on what this means or could mean for you then drop by sometime
-
Exactly right.. have use ever watched a doco called THRIVE,??
-
I'm pretty sure the stuff they are spraying up there will hinder its effectiveness.
-
That land belongs to the wildlife they got money to buy electric.
-
iGMO
-
Yea they need backup for when the grid is hit. Solar farm my ass.
-
Great news!!!
-
You have that right DAHBOO, 'obama' taxed this technology to discourage implimentations from others to clear the way for the 'apple biter' like a bully who shoves his way through and says "it is mine"
-
Monterey where there's plenty of fog and clouds, daily!
-
Google and others have already built a solar farm by hoover dam. It's not producing what they hoped though. It's called Ivanpah and I think they are building these for when they blow the Hoover Dam they can reap the benefits. Ivanpah was built by Bechtal which was one of the companies that built the dam. They've done lots of NWO protects.

Solar farm? How bizarre. Would you eat food from a large corporation that does not specialize in agriculture? Are they growing gmo food? Or food embedded with spy chips? Wtf?
-
Apple? Of course they will use Chinese made solar phatic cells and hire undocumented workers to install it, but it will save them money!
-
Solar thermal or photovoltaic? Big difference right there in a project this scale, one means millions will be poisoned with heavy metals refining rare earths to dope the silicon.
Hopefully its well designed thermal, like a parabolic trough array not the bird roasting tower concentrators. However do not think that solar is a serious silver bullet solution. When we are as good at harnessing the suns energy as plants- who also do it without destroying ecosystems I'll be happy to jump on the train- until then be realistic.
Look if you want to cover half the country and use thousands of times as much resources and space to make, and hundreds of times as much maintenance requirements to operate, not based on bureaucrats but on the hard laws of physics you are going to momentarily cause some benefit to society but in the end you are producing nothing with that expenditure and that will not equate into raising the quality of life for citizens in the long. You can either have non-corrupt politicians or you can have people working towards efficient application of work and raise quality of life. A bit like wishing in one hand, and... well you know the rest. For all the good things that happen it pales in comparison to what could have been.
