well my dad owns a big land in philippines and i'm the only son in the family and i wanna raise deer I know how to raise pigs,chicken,duck,dogs, do i need to buy a book ?

@OutdoorAdventures put some garlic through their food and you won't have any problems. I do the same with my horses. I know they're not the same animal but i'm convinced that it will work for deer as well. Walnut trees also help keep mosquito's and flies away. i just think that sometimes Americans grab insecticides waaaaay to quickly.

@klaverenvrouwke those flies bite and they carry disease...in addition, they cause stress to the animals. if you don't control the flies, it can be a problem.

what a joke, lol. All this talk about caring about nature and look at how they spray all these insecticides on the fields. Deer are wild creatures. A few flies won't bother them.
