On Friday, October 15, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bronson recognized 3 Boys Farm, Saturiwa Conservation Area, and Arapaho Citrus Management with his 2010 Environmental Leadership Awards. Be sure to see the fantastic video that Rick Lurding--Radio & TV Producer/Director for the Florida Department of Agriculture--made of 3 Boys Farm, which premiered at the breakfast. You'll be so impressed, with both the farm itself and the lovely filmography and well-written narrative.

Incredible. Now to get away from gmo's in America.

This is a commercial operation, as they said he started growing palms and bamboo. he made enough money to keep expanding till he had this much stuff. He uses only what works. if a better system is found, then they change to the new system. If the people of Haiti got together and each put in one dollar, they could build several of these and add more each year as they sold the food.

those buildings and that equipment isn't cheap. How much of it was built on the taxpayer dime? how many grants? how many people in haiti could afford this? or should the US taxpayer pay that for everybody!!!

I bet this will cost a lot of money. If only we stopped producing useless objects like plastic bottles we could easily produce thousands of these self sustaining houses all over the world.

Hello, I'm a young entrepreneur from San Diego. I would like to build one of these in my hometown. How many millions does it cost to build?
