-
You should record the Tunnels in Bristol! Now that would be bad ass!
-
I've walked from NB into Southington and I dont remember seeing this years back. (on the tracks) Unless its the tracks off of Burlington avenue?
-
Another stupid question... did you see any trespassing signs? I just don't wanna drive and then get arrested :/

This particular plant had an electrical power generation plant on premises which was oil fired, and used a lot of oil to generate electrical power for the whole facility...the plant was huge, a real monster energy hog. Only used when power service feed was interrupted.

Old oil storage and pump station for New Departure/Hyatt GM plant when it was a defense contractor. This stuff was required for backup...US Government requirement. Plant was sold and new owners inherited this mess...I believe. All defense contractors beyond a certain size have or had to have this if they used oil energy...

ShadowFakx, are you talking of the passage under the tracks? or elsewhere? I walked the tunnel under the tracks when I went back last year. There is supposed to be more under, but was blocked by cut steel debris. Only went 1/2 way into the fire pump room.
