4 hour drive down to Fresno, 8 hours of farm labor in the blazing sun of Fresno California, then a 3.5 hour drive back up to San Francisco. The Lao farmers were gracious to donate all the produce we picked to Wat Buddhapradeep of San Francisco. 300 lbs of hot chilli peppers hand picked by a Thai Master Monk, 4 other Thai monks, and 4 volunteers. If you are in the area and would like to volunteer please drop SEACHAMPA.org for more volunteer opportunities.
