Humane Society International rescued 57 dogs in March 2015 from a dog meat farm in South Korea. The farmer will be transitioning over to an agriculture business instead of farming dogs. The dogs arrived in San Francisco, CA and will be spread out to Emergency Placement Partners with The Humane Society of the United States. We are so thrilled for these dogs to be off the farm and closer to living in their loving forever homes they so desperately deserve.

As a South Korean myself, I feel so disgusted and ashamed. I've never been to Korea, never ate dog meat, in fact I've never had a dog or any kind of animal in my house. When I was younger, I was always puzzled as to why people accused Asian people such as myself, for eating dogs and cats and other animals. I hope people will not accuse others for eating animals that are purposed for pets just because they're from a certain country...

It's really a shame that South Korea is the only country that farms dogs for dog meat.
Most people in South Korea thinks eating dog meat is not right, and recently there has been a measure.(2016/12/13)
Moran market, where 80,000 dogs are being killed for dog meat, has decided to stop selling dog meat.
I cried watching this video, and I really hope that no more dogs to suffer from this industry.
