We turn off the bitumen at Nullabor Roadhouse and follow the Old Eyre Highway. We see lots of wildlife, Emu's, Camels, a Dingo and a family of Australian Bustards (wild turkeys) and stop at Koonalda Homestead, Koonalda Cave, Koomooloobooka Cave and Bildoolja Cave before finding a nice sheltered campsite for the night where we get a good fire going and cook up a camp oven roast with rack of lamb and roast veges to go with a few cold beers.
