Farms: "20 People have died in Farm Accidents" -Farm Safety | Ireland AM

Ireland has over twice the amount of farm accidents as other European countries. Over 20 people have died in farm-related accidents this year, which is already well ahead of last year's total of 16, according to the Health and Safety Authority. Just one week short of his 46th birthday, Dermot Hogan fell to his sudden and untimely death through a 'clear-light' on the roof of a shed at his farm in Offaly.
