I haven't gotten a metal detector yet, my brother in law has one, not sure what kind though...I'm surprised at how far under the surface some of these more modern coins are found at...I'd have thought most coins from 1970s and 80s would be just under the surface...Some you're digging up are 4 and 5 inches under... -
