Carl Taylor from Taylor Farms in Idaho Falls, Idaho, presenting Spudniks 16 row harvesting system. With eight 6 row windrowers and four 4 row harvesters they are able to harvest between 400 - 450 acres a day. The biggest advantage was to reduce tractors and operators from their harvesting operation. In addition they were better able to utilize their truck fleet and reduce bruising due to the higher capacity of the machines and fewer machines in the operation.

how much a ton do they pay for spuds there???
-
Notice that the plants are very evenly desiccated. Probably sprayed with roundup which, if true, is contaminating the potatoes and the land with a lethal poison. No wonder cancer is on the rise.
-
What are the units doing that aren't unloading into the trucks? Are they just holding potatoes?

some awesome machines there, i love john deere, for farming simulator action please check my vids and subscribe to my channel, thank you very much

ever notice that it the idiots that don't do the work that bitch about us farmers getting more efficient. I think they live in LA LA land .I've actually had a person tell me if I grew extra on the farm I could help feed the local village I told them if they came down to the farm and helped I'd send them home with the extra didn't hear a fukin peep after that

Lol we expect to do 100 acres over the whole harvest season in scotland with a 1 row harvester and we think that's great!

Fantastic. We've come along way since I picked potatoes by hand out of a field in the 60's. Love modern innovation. I also love potatoes and love everything about them. I raised potatoes for 30 years near Blackfoot!

Looks great, the best work for men. I'd been working for 2 year in a farm, it was the best work, all day in the open air, but work was organized horrible (shortage personals and finances), and 5 y.a. the farm closed. I hope in Australia I will resume my carrer at Agriculture. It looks more appropriate than sitting in the office: mind dosen't exhausted and I comeback home with goodmood but without force)), but I know I've done smtg useful for people.

that's an idea, thanks. In fact, I am growing my own. Won't choke. But your suggestion doesn't address the issue of roundup being used unnecessarily on the potato plants and harming people's health in general.

As my exgirlfriend would sneakly retort,, "whatever, i usually just get my potarters at waltmart"
-
That's nice. I hear you capitalist pig farmers drench the potato plants in glyphosate poison to dry em out so you can make a few extra dimes. Fuck people's health, right?
