Derek "Deek" Diedricksen (Relaxshacks.com, Author of "Microshelters" and "Humble Homes, Simple Shacks"), gives us a one-take impromptu tour of a brand new tiny house on wheels that was built and designed by Domenic Mangano of the Jamaica Cottage Shop in Vermont (www.JamaicaCottageShop.com). This tiny house is solar powered, has a small gas hot water heater, a loft with dormers, and a rather spacious bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet) for such a small house. Domenic and his company have been building tiny houses, cabins, and sheds for twenty years now.

A different interior design for a tiny house, but a grand one just the same, and we love it.

Water that close to wood could get kind of moldy...

I like these houses. The problems I see is where to put them and how to secure them. I have read about them being stolen. Also problems with bank loans and insurance. Please address these. Thanks.

I am so glad you mentioned about a loft window regarding fires! I am always so stumped why builders and customers don't automatically do this. Often they do put a window there but it's too small to crawl out of. I love this design!

Great video thanks. Good tiny house build quality. Your very clear and distinctive voice is slightly spoilt by the background noise. I would suggest a noise-reduction microphone next time..
The dual purpose hot water dispenser is a great idea but needs to be developed to overcome the danger of heating on empty.
Many thanks
