I wonder how much solar power could be made with the same amount of money that was sunk into the last pipeline.
-
Awesome
-
Wow u guys are exited bout a 2 Meg? Lmao when ur ready for a real farm holla at ur boy. Can drive, rack, and panel 7-10megs every 2 to 3 months depending on site conditions and weather... also nextracker certified... cheers...
-
I believe in Reality you only have 1.4MW
-
Why would you build them on dust. That makes no sense at all. I see nothing but dust on your solar panels. What is this Arabia?? And why are solar panels all wobbly as shit down the line.
What a dumb idea to have dust near solar panels lol... -
okay. 7650-7700 solar panels.
-
Canada should be a hundred percent solar powered because people need solar energy in space.
-
Yah west would be the tip of a mountain
-
How are you storing the energy for at night?
-
This colony is 90 minutes east of Calgary - NOT west as said at 00:45
-
just lay agro weed control mats near the panels, for the rest i guess mowing is best:)
-
This is amazing! With our abundant resources of Sun, Wind, Geothermal and Biomass - Southern Alberta could be a centre for Renewable Energy.
-
To control the weeds, why not release some goats, but if there is problem with them eating cables, then why not use solar powered robotic grasscutters/mowers?.
-
Love it , love it!! is the system tied to the grid so you can over produce power in the summer and sell it to the utility and buy some of it back in the winter?
-
So let me get this straight. Half the power is consumed by the plastics recycling plant which can be operated for long hours in summer and short hours in winter. Excellent choice of project, I think.
The hog and chicken farm that consumes the other half of the solar energy must also slow down in winter. How does that work?
Presumably the solar power pays off because the farm is off-grid, right? The farm is on a south-facing slope just below what looks like a healthy crop. So the soil is good. How then do solar energy returns compare with crop returns? -
The price of wind and solar continue to fall every year...........
-
Climate Change is real.... we need to deal with the cause (fossil fuels)
Wind and solar are the future..... fossil fuels are the past.........
